Shrek Forever After Video Game

We got to try out the new Shrek Forever After video game for the Nintendo DS.  Both of my teens used it and enjoyed the game very much. They found it challenging and fun and felt it would be good for kids of all ages!
You can play the game as Shrek, Fiona, Puss, or Donkey. You can use their unique abilities to help save Far Away.  The kids said it was fun to switch between the characters to gain points and go to higher levels.  The DS version also has mini games and LLB really enjoyed those.
They enjoyed the music - which says a lot because the music often gets really annoying after a while and they turn it off.  They both said that the music for this game was more than acceptable and went along with the games.

We had one problem with our game. It froze up a few times. I contacted Mom Central and they are sending us another game to try out in the hopes that it was just our game and not a problem with the programming.

“I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Activision and received the items necessary to facilitate my review. In addition, Mom Central sent me a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.”
