I have a dilemma...

I have been asked to be PTO Co-Chair.
I am busy... very busy.
I'm told it's not that big a deal, but I think I might know better.
The girl who I would be co-chair with is terrific -- and she's a worker...
I dunno...
What do you think? Should I do it?

Where do you find the time??

Okay, You are asking advice...so I will give it.

ONLY if you KNOW you can dedicate the time that it deserves. The last two schools we've been at had the 'super moms' who said they could but then really couldn't handle it all and something got left out or shortchanged. It was frustrating to us because she didn't take the time to listen or hear other idea due to her attempt to make everything super speedy easy peasy. Does that make sense? I get a lot of 'attitude' because I don't volunteer as much as the other moms but the truth is..I will not take on something I know I can't devote myself too. So they can kiss my arse ;-)

You know they say if you want something done, ask a busy person! Someone asked me to do this next year and I said NO. It was hard, but it IS time consuming. I hope you will really think carefully about it and make sure you are not taking on too much.
