The other day Mr. Bug and I were walking with LLB and Zeb. LLB has Zeb and is a few steps in front of us. Zeb wants to sniff something for the millionth time. He stops. She almost trips. Her whine - not "Zebbie!" Oh, no - of course not. She whines her brother's name.
We laugh - a lot!
She says, "Are you going to blog this?"
I say, "Ummm..... Let me think about it. Yes."
She says, "oh. I thought so."

That is so funny....I have called our dog by our son's name....he didn't find it amusing!
Memory:
Remember the day....well, one of them... that I kept calling you girls by the wrong name.......and I was so exasperated that I looked at 3 year old AuntieBug and said..."What is your name anyway"? With tears in her eyes and a horrified look on her face, she said, "It's AuntieBug"! Poor child was traumatized!!

Ok, I'm feeling better about the fact that I often call my sons by the other son's name. I haven't called them Teddy yet though. Nor have I called Teddy by their names.
I'm feeling all high and mighty now with my name calling expertise ;).
I've called DD by the dog's name and vice versa...it's funny and terrible at the same time.
And DD is all the time asking if what she says or does will end up on my blog. Sometimes I don't even get the idea to blog about it until she brings it up.
