Cotillion

For those of you who don't have this word in your vocabulary, cotillion is a class that kids take to learn manners and ballroom dancing.

LLB and #1 went back to their respective Cotillion classes yesterday. LLB had fun, but #1 had a fabulous time. He is in Year 3. When he called to check in with me on the way home, he said, "Mom, year 3 is the best! I don't care what people think! This was awesome. I love it! There were lots of gorgeous girls, too!"

Yeah.. that helps...

hehehe - girls!! :-))

Hi there, Missee Bug. We never had those kind of classes at school. What with proms and reunions, US schools really do seem more fun.

There's a little surprise for you at the Palace, sweetie :-)

Fun! I think all kids should go to cotillion.

Well...a little motivation never hurts...and your son obviously no fool.

Have a great Sunday. Glad they are both enjoying it. I wish DS 2 had participated before this whole Deb season. He's plugging along, though.

:-) Susan

Must be a southern thing...I've only heard the term in southern places. I'm thinking I should try to teach it to our homeschooling group...do you think that it's possible?

I have looked for those type of classes here with no luck. I am now jealous.
