I'm Back!

Hello!
Thanks for all of your get well wishes. I do live and breathe - I'm still coughing, but not as much. My medicine is working and I'm finally starting to feel myself. The medicine has one side effect - it makes me tired - I mean really tired as in dopey. I would rather it made me zippy so I could get my chores done.

LLB is having a banner weekend! She is finally big enough to ride her new bike - umm... yes, that would be the wicked cool purple one we purchased for her two years ago... LLB rode the bike all afternoon on Friday and then she got up this morning to get some riding in before breakfast. I'd say she loves it! She doesn't ride on the street. She rides all over the yard. She might get eaten by the bear, but at least she's not going to get hit by a car.

Right now she's watching her favorite movie - Phantom of the Opera. She's curled up on the couch with Zebbie and her cat. I love to watch her watch this movie...

Oh cool! A bday present that becomes a present all over again 2 years later! Wise shopping Mom!!! LOL! Glad she's finally getting to enjoy it! Please don't let the bear get her... that would just be... ugly! She has good taste in movies!

Hooray LLB.....we can finally ditch the bike she has been riding, the green Schwinn one speed, fooot brake, which the granbugs bought for her mom (LB) when SHE was 8 years old!!! Can't say we didn't get mileage out of it! We were all wondering if LLB would ever get tall enough to ride the new one! Hooray, a real milestone!

Yippie! You're better! WE sure missed you. Sorry you had to take the groggy medicine...I don't like that kind at all.

DH thinks that DD needs a new bike. But her knees aren't hitting the handlebars yet so I'm thinking we'll wait some more. I learned how to ride on an adult sized bike...and while I don't want to torture DD with an adult bike, I also don't want to buy her a new bike every 2 inches.
