Our cat has a fetish. She licks bags. We call her "The Bag Licker". She's done it since she was a kitten. Bring in a bag from the grocery store, Target, Walmart, the dollar store, or anywhere for that matter and she's in heaven. She sniffs it and then it starts - lick lick lick... I have a ton of presents still in plastic shopping bags on my bedroom floor in the corner. Do you know what that pile means to her? It's a veritable orgy of plastic bliss! She licks all night... Have you any idea what that noise can do to your dreams???
I guess I really need to wrap!
Did I mention that she also likes to lick bows and use ribbons as dental floss?
Yes, our cat needs therapy. Yes, we know... our cat is nuts!

Awww! I had a cat that used to love pictures - she would constantly lick any picture you left out. I'm sure she's sadly disappointed in the digital camera craze.
ok, yes, that is one weird cat! I say this as the owner of a cat who LOVES sucking on blankets... at least it's a quieter activity than licking plastic bags!
I'm trying to think of a way you can put her plastic licking fetish to good use and sadly, I can't think of anything.
not nuts- unique!! :) Hey, our dog eats wood.. he especially loves rose bushes. *sigh* They can be unique together.
My dog chews her nails. We don't know why. The vet has checked her for allergies.
She will sit right next to her bone and still chew her nails instead...oh and if you cut her nails she'll try to eat the clippings.
And she barks in her sleep. Luckily she has her own bedroom that isn't near mine.
Hehehe, I'm just imagining you trying to sleep while listening to the sound of her sandpaper rough tongue scraping over the bags.
My Mom had a cat who loved to get in a basket of warm laundry just out of the dryer and tunnel in for a good sleep. This was all well and good until the time the he decided to tunnel INTO the leg of a pair of jeans. Literally, the cat was stuck with his paws forward and legs behind them in the jeans leg AND HE WAS PURRING. He loved it. I thought I'd never get my jeans back and I sure wish I'd taken a picture of it. HA!
